One of the most common questions we get before someone places their first EXTRALOGIA order is some version of: how does it fit?
It's a fair question. 3D printed shoes don't have the same construction as traditional footwear, and that changes how they interact with your foot. Here's everything you need to know before you order.
Do EXTRALOGIA shoes run true to size?
Sizing depends on which last your shoe is built on, so it's worth checking which group your style falls into before you order.
FORM 01 uses a wider last than our other styles. If your foot measurement falls between two sizes, we recommend sizing up.
FORM 02, EASE, and TRANSIT share a standard last and run true to size. If you're between sizes, we also recommend sizing up.
Because the lasts differ, your FORM 01 size and your FORM 02 size may not be the same number — always check the size chart for the specific style you're ordering rather than assuming your usual EXTRALOGIA size carries over.
How the lattice structure affects fit
Traditional shoes have rigid panels, foam padding, and a fixed interior shape. EXTRALOGIA shoes are a single continuous lattice — which means the structure flexes and adapts slightly to the shape of your foot rather than imposing a fixed shape onto it.
In practice, this means the fit feels more responsive than a conventional shoe. There's no break-in period in the traditional sense — the lattice is already flexible from the first wear. What some people experience instead is a short adjustment period as their foot learns what this kind of support feels like.
How to measure your foot at home
If you're unsure about sizing, measuring your foot takes about two minutes and removes most of the guesswork.
Place a piece of paper on a hard floor. Stand on it with your full weight distributed evenly. Trace the outline of your foot with a pen held vertically. Measure the longest distance from heel to toe in centimeters.
Once you have your measurement, cross-reference it with our size chart — we've broken it down by style since FORM 01 and our other silhouettes use different lasts. You can find the full guide here: size-guide
If your measurement falls between two sizes, size up.
What if it doesn't fit?
Every EXTRALOGIA order comes with free shipping and a 30-day return window. If your size isn't right, contact us at support@extralogia.com and we'll sort it out — no complicated process, no restocking fees.
We'd rather you get the right fit than keep a pair that doesn't work for you.
Still not sure?
Send us a message. Tell us your usual shoe size, the brand you normally wear, and whether you tend to have a wider or narrower foot — and we'll give you a specific recommendation before you order.
